Weekly Spelling Homework

Four homework assignments must be turned in every Friday.

You will need to do the following as three of your four assignments every week:

 1-Write all spelling words three times each.

2-Put all words in alphabetical order.

3-Take a practice test and write any words you misspell five times.  Have a parent sign your paper.

For your additional assignment you may pick one of the following:

 1-Illustate 10 words.

2-Write a story using 10 words.

3-Write 10 meaningful sentences using words from list.

4-Create a puzzle (crossword, word scramble, word search, etc.)

5-Write your words in rainbow colors.

6-Write your words pyramid style.

 -All spelling homework should be done on wide ruled notebook paper. 

-Spelling homework should be written with neat, cursive handwriting. 

-On Friday, spelling homework should be stacked and stapled in order (3 x each, ABC order, practice test, assignment of choice). 

-Spelling homework will be graded on completion. 

-Four assignments receives 100/A+

-Three assignments receives 75/D

-Two assignments receives 50/F

-One assignment receives 25/F

-No assignment receives 0/F
